Omorovicza
Omorovicza traces its heritage to the Omorovicza family’s Rácz Fürdő thermal bath in Budapest, dating to the nineteenth century. Husband and wife Stephen and Margaret de Heinrich de Omorovicza established the brand after experiencing the effects of Budapest’s mineral-rich thermal waters. Omorovicza launched in 2006 after working with a dermatology laboratory to develop and patent the Healing Concentrate™, designed to deliver minerals associated with the waters into skincare formulations. Its identity combines Budapest thermal-water heritage, Hungarian treatment traditions, patented skincare biotechnology, and a Skin Therapy approach that pairs products with treatment protocols. During the first months of 2025, the brand introduced a visual identity with redesigned packaging, an updated logo, and colors inspired by the Rácz baths and Budapest’s geology; its formulations and product sizes were unchanged. In fragrance, the Queen of Hungary line, especially Queen of Hungary Mist, draws on historical Queen of Hungary Water and uses orange-blossom, rose, and sage distillates.
