Ora e Labora Parfums
Ora e Labora Parfums is an artisanal perfume house born in Provence, with an identity shaped by the region’s light, land, sea, materials, and slower sense of time. Founded by Henri R. Steinbacher, the house grew from his earlier work leading an atelier that supported independent and niche fragrance projects, before he turned toward a more personal, hands-on approach to perfume. Its name joins “ORA,” inner inspiration, with “LABORA,” the craft, work, and discipline needed to give that inspiration form. The brand develops compositions through close attention to raw materials, detail, time, balance, and artisanal know-how, favoring intimate skin scents over excess. Its public fragrance debut arrived in 2026 with four perfumes credited to Steinbacher. The house is especially identified with a founding trilogy—Solea, Terra Mea, and Alba Marina—described as expressions of the South through light, material, and horizon. Oud Marselha followed as a limited-edition development centered on oud, leather, and olive wood.
