Fragrance house
OrDioLab
OrDioLab was founded in summer 2016 as a creative space devoted to scent experiments. Soon after its initial plans began, the founder’s mother died, and he stayed in Taiwan with his father while immersing himself in perfumery. After more than two years of exploration with over 400 fragrance materials, OrDioLab was re-established with a renewed aim of expressing scent in a more delicate and natural way. The name combines “Original” and “Studio,” while its Chinese name, 原物所, describes a place for original things. The independent Taiwanese perfume house brings together scent, art, craftsmanship, memory, Taiwanese herbs and foliage, and ingredients sourced globally. Cofounder and master perfumer Jerry Lin personally develops the brand’s compositions. In 2025, his Mint Rose won the Artisan category at the Art and Olfaction Awards. Using mint, mountain pepper or maqaw, white rose, and bitter orange, the fragrance connects OrDioLab’s award-winning work with Taiwanese materials and the brand’s local creative identity.
