Organ Tale

Organ Tale is a South Korean perfume brand released in May 2024. Its concept grew from founder Shim Ilhwa’s memories of his mother’s vintage perfumes and focuses on sharing the stories behind fragrances; before creating the brand, he worked in perfume importing and distribution and collaborated with fragrance businesses and perfumers. The name refers both to the olfactory organ and to the perfumer’s organ, the instrument used to combine scents into compositions. Organ Tale made its initial international presentation at Pitti Fragranze 2024 in Florence, where its first three fragrances—Devenir, Fleur de Bonbon, and Printemps—debuted. Created with Bertrand Duchaufour and Quentin Bisch, the trio introduced the brand’s collaboration with internationally recognized perfumers. By 2025, Organ Tale was presenting extended fragrance narratives and had participated in Grasse Perfume Week, using storytelling as a central way to communicate its fragrances.
