Orlov Paris
Orlov Paris launched in 2015, with its debut collection becoming available at Bergdorf Goodman on October 16 that year. Founded and creatively directed by gemologist Ruth Séry and former banker Thomas Méaulle, the French niche perfume house built its identity around a connection between fragrance and diamonds: its perfumes are named after legendary stones, while the house name refers to the Orlov diamond. The original Diamond Collection comprised five fragrances inspired by individual legendary diamonds, with Dominique Ropion engaged as perfumer for that launch collection. The current house is presented through three collections—Diamant Collection, Place Vendôme, and By Orlov—while retaining gemstones, French tradition, and jewelry-inspired faceted packaging as its organizing identity. Its namesake fragrance, Orlov, is identified as the collection’s signature scent and appears in the Diamond Collection best-sellers category. Orlov Paris belongs to the family-owned company Fragrance Collection.
