Ortir Apothecari

Ortir Apothecari was founded by Lisa Howarth in 2021 and launched in May 2022 as a niche perfume house based in West Wales. Its identity is rooted in landscape-driven fragrance, expressed as “love letters to Wales” and shaped by materials grown and distilled from the land where Howarth lives. The brand received the Fashion and Beauty Startup of the Year award at the Wales Startup Awards in 2023. By 2024, its four-fragrance collection reflected West Wales wildlife, rare botanicals, and changing seasons, with rose appearing as a principal ingredient throughout. Dôl offers a traditional fougère inspired by Welsh meadows, while Haf, presented by Bloom Perfumery as a bestseller, moves from intense citrus into vibrant florals.
