Orto Parisi

Orto Parisi is an Amsterdam-based fragrance line founded by Italian perfumer Alessandro Gualtieri, with its debut placed in 2014. The project is dedicated to Gualtieri’s grandfather, Vincenzo Parisi, whose garden inspired its name and concept. Its identity treats the human body as a garden and scent as a mirror of the soul, linking fragrance to instinct, animalism, memory, and bodily experience. Gualtieri’s work on the line also draws on childhood encounters with raw, animal-related smells in Italy. Orto Parisi launched with five fragrances—Bergamask, Boccanera, Brutus, Stercus, and Viride. Megamare followed in 2019, with a concept centered on the depth and totality of the sea. The trademark was filed in 2013 and registered in 2014, and Alessandro Gualtieri is identified as its current owner. In 2025, Orto Parisi released Risvelium, continuing themes of awakening, altered perception, and the connection between earthly and transcendent experience.
