Oudh Al Anfar

Oudh Al Anfar traces its family fragrance business to Assam, India, where Haji Anfar Ali and his wife, Samsun Nehar Anfar Ali, established it in 1950 with expertise in agarwood and Dehn Al Oudh. Across generations, the house’s public identity has centered on oud, agarwood, oud oil, and oriental fragrance oils, with activities spanning multiple perfume brands and fragrance-oil categories. The family legacy was later revived through Almas Anfar Kathuria’s relaunch of Al Anfar Perfumes, whose direction combines traditional oud and amber with French-inspired elegance and a more colorful, playful, emotional, and personal sensibility. In fragrance, Silver Spray marked an early retail introduction as the company expanded in the Middle East, while Mukhallat Al Badr, launched in 2006 and identified as a top seller since 2009, is presented as a French-oriental oud fragrance balancing oud with amber, rose, cedarwood, and white musk.
