Overose
Founded in 2016 in Paris’s 9th arrondissement, Overose began as a Parisian candle and perfume house created by Matthieu Belhandouz. Its initial candle design used rose-tinted rapeseed wax with matching pink glass containers. Belhandouz drew inspiration from the modern design of architect Pierre Jeanneret. Overose describes its perfume approach as independent and centered on sincerity, individuality, and focus, with a modern, arts-oriented aesthetic. The brand identifies its monochromatic pink and holographic candles as characteristic of Overose, while its current range includes candles and perfumes described as everyday skin fragrances. In its early fragrance story, Nympholia was described as a popular Overose scent, while the jasmine-based Indasmin sold out soon after launch.
