Fragrance house
Pana Dora Sweden
Pana Dora Sweden was founded in 2019 in Emmaboda, Sweden, by Syrian-Swedish perfumer Ibrahim Al-Zoubi. Al-Zoubi left Syria in 1988 and had more than 30 years of experience as a perfumer for international companies before establishing the house. The brand’s creative concept joins Swedish nature, history, culture, and seventeenth-century Swedish life with Al-Zoubi’s Syrian background and experience in perfumery. Its fragrances are presented as a meeting of Eastern richness and Western refinement, grounded in Swedish forests, flowers, and natural imagery. A recurring stag or deer-head emblem is used as a symbol of Swedish wildlife and Scandinavian identity. The house’s early fragrance world is framed around forests, water, social life, and royal settings; Imperial Wood, released in 2021, is attributed to Al-Zoubi’s perfumery.
