Panache
Panache is one of Lenthéric’s female fragrance brands. Lenthéric was established in Paris in 1875 by hairdresser Guillaume Lenthéric, who initially made fragrances for customers on request. The house launched approximately 140 fragrances between 1910 and 1964. Panache appeared in 1979 as a Lenthéric fragrance made in association with Yardley, described as a soft, crisp green floral parfum de toilette. In 1998, Panache was among the women’s brands sold to Fine Fragrances & Cosmetics after Yardley’s breakup following receivership. Indigo Brands acquired the global Lenthéric trademark rights in 2003; Indigo is a subsidiary of AVI Limited, which continues to list Lenthéric among its personal-care brands.
