Panama 1924

Panama 1924 is an Italian fragrance brand created in the late 1990s by Michele Boellis, whose family’s barbering history in Naples reaches back to Antonio Boellis’s arrival there in 1924. The name refers to Antonio’s Panama hat and to that year, while Michele’s entry into the family business at 13 made the brand an extension of a third-generation Boellis tradition. Its identity combines Italian elegance and style with Neapolitan barbering heritage, tradition, innovation, artisanal attention to detail, and fragrance-oriented personal care. Alongside its men’s fragrances, the brand introduced a personal-care line designed around scents already in its range; in 2012, it marked its tenth anniversary with Daytona, a fragrance created by Michele Boellis. The debut fragrance, 1924, pays tribute to Antonio Boellis and his arrival in Naples and is presented as the founding fragrance of the line.
