Panama Jack
Panama Jack began in 1974 on a Florida beach with a first line of tanning products. Founded and owned by Jack Katz, the company grew from sun care into a tropical lifestyle brand that added beachwear, jewelry, eyewear, headwear, apparel and other beach-oriented categories over time. A Panama Jack T-shirt appeared on the cover of Life magazine’s 1986 “Worn in the USA” feature. In 2002, the brand became the official sun-care provider for the United States Lifesaving Association, and in 2014 it partnered with the Melanoma Research Foundation on skin-cancer awareness and annual donations. Panama Jack marked its 50th anniversary in 2024; Panama Jack International, Inc. is listed as an active corporation and identified on the official website as the copyright holder. Its fragrances are organized as body mists, eau de toilette sprays and essential oils, with beach-and-summer themes including ocean air, tropical florals, fresh fruit and salty breezes.
