Founded in 2016 by brothers Francesco and Piergiacomo Sigalini in Dello, near Brescia, Italy, Pantamolle grew out of their bespoke-shirt work and a reinterpretation of lightweight, colorful trousers inspired by garments their father brought home from travels. The first trousers were made that summer and initially sold by Francesco through personal contacts and social media; an e-commerce site followed in 2018. Pantamolle is an Italian lifestyle brand centered on artisan production, positivity, dedication, pride, and the phrase “Life is Life.” Its creative identity extends beyond trousers into clothing, home and design projects, a magazine, a record label, and film production. The Sigalini brothers remain its proprietors, while Sigafantasy S.r.l., founded in 2021, is identified as its operating company. Pantamolle has also developed Pantamolle Profumi, a three-fragrance project expressing themes of positivity, freedom, authenticity, and the “Life is Life” philosophy.
