Fragrance house
Param Sara
Founded by Ankita Gill, Param Sara debuted in 2024, launching first in China after Gill had lived there for almost a decade. The fragrance house connects Indian roots with Chinese experience and draws on Hindu, Buddhist, and Taoist ideas, presenting fragrance as a contemporary bridge across Asian traditions. Its philosophy centers on self-exploration through scent, reflected in a name that joins “Param,” associated with transcendence, and “Sara,” associated with energy, essence, extract, or completion. By 2026, its fragrance offering comprised Season 001—Mandala, Kama, Bodhi, and Nirvana—and Season 002, focused on masculine–feminine dialogue through Naga and Nagi. Mandala has been identified as the brand’s bestseller and won the Independent-category People’s Choice award at the 2025 Art and Olfaction Awards; it was perfumed by Alex Lee, with Gill as creative director.
