Parfumane
Founded by Bekir Kantarcı with Yasir Kantarcı and Dilara Kantarcı among its founding team, Parfumane grew from the family’s interests in bottle design, antique collecting, and natural raw materials. Bekir Kantarcı entered the perfume business in 1993 as a crystal-bottle designer and began a partnership with Abdul Samad Al Qurashi around 2001–2002. After moving from Saudi Arabia to Turkey in 2017, he decided to open a perfume shop and create Parfumane. The result combines a perfume gallery and boutique with a museum-style experience devoted to fragrance culture and heritage. Its creative identity connects Ottoman, Middle Eastern, Arabic, Turkish, and broader ancient perfume traditions with contemporary presentation, natural ingredients, bottle design, and storytelling. The Istanbul museum and gallery presents historical perfume culture, an osmotheque, antique bottles, and Parfumane’s own fragrances. Bekir Kantarcı, identified as the brand’s founder and perfumer, is also closely associated with its bottle-design identity. In April 2026, Parfumane received the Best Bottle Design award at the Marie Claire Türkiye Fragrance Awards. Its fragrance identity is especially oriented toward oud and historically rooted Oriental fragrance culture, including the Oriental and Ottoman collections.
