Parfumania

Parfumania is a Paris-based fragrance-compound and consulting company established in 2003 by Nejla Barbir. Before founding the company, Barbir trained in perfumery at ISIPCA, began her career at Flora Synth in 1987, and later worked as a senior perfumer at Harman & Reimer/Symrise until 1999. Her work with Christian Dior, particularly Dior Dune, was pivotal to her career. Parfumania develops fragrance creations and oils, conducts evaluation and development, and provides consulting related to perfumes, fragrances, and cosmetics. Its creative identity combines scientific and technical fragrance development with the creativity of experienced perfumers, informed by Barbir’s experiences across Tunisia, France, Spain, Egypt, Lebanon, and the Gulf region.
