Parfümerie Brückner

Founded in Munich in May 1893 by Philippine and Magnus Brückner, Parfümerie Brückner began by selling fragrance waters, pomades and powders. In 1905, it received the title Königlich Bayerischer Hoflieferant from Prince Regent Luitpold and later moved into Munich’s newly built Rathaus at Marienplatz. The business remained family-owned through four generations: Margarete Bublitz introduced American luxury brands such as Estée Lauder and Helena Rubinstein to Munich, Horst Bublitz modernized the family business, and Tanja Bublitz later steered it toward niche fragrances as perfume discounters arrived. Creed was an early catalyst for that direction, with its initial stock selling out within two weeks. After marking its 125th anniversary in 2018, the company welcomed Laura Bublitz as its fourth generation in 2021, linking the physical store with online and digital shopping. In 2025, it introduced Brückner Beyond, a concept devoted to artisanal niche fragrances, small houses and rare creations. The business has also developed its own fragrances for at least two decades, including the Oriental-inspired Les Orientales collection.
