Parfumerie Particulière
Parfumerie Particulière was established in France in 2016 by Guillaume Mantel and his longtime friend Charles Rousseau. Mantel’s path to the house included work around major fashion houses, a Parisian concept store, and three years of exploration and travel focused on perfumery. Its identity centers on contemporary, urban, conceptual creations that reinterpret high-perfumery conventions and explore modern olfactory experiences. Amélie Bourgeois and Anne-Sophie Behaghel became central creative partners, shaping the house’s modern, unconventional olfactory identity, while Italian artist Pietro Sedda created the illustrations that form the fragrances’ visual universe. In 2018, the house presented its first collection of eight unisex fragrances at Esxence in Milan. The Saint Mariner, added that year, takes its name from Sedda’s nickname and was conceived, designed, and crafted within the core creative collaboration. Engraved glass bottles, Waltersperger glassmaking, and handmade concrete caps designed by sculptor Francesco Passaniti extend the brand’s urban-artistic identity. In 2025, three new Eau de Parfum creations were presented at Pitti Fragranze, and Belle Epoque was reformulated into a smokier, leather-focused composition.
