Parfumeurs du Monde
Founded in 2016 at the initiative of perfumer Thierry Bernard and Gwenaëlle Chauvin, Parfumeurs du Monde was created around a collective approach to natural haute perfumery. Its model brings together independent perfumers who work with natural raw materials and draw on human stories, travel, and freedom of expression. The brand’s charter prohibits synthetic aromatic raw materials and states that its actions and fragrances support the Cœur de Forêt association. A place-based travel concept runs through the collection: early fragrances were associated with regions of the world, while the house describes them as olfactory stories shaped by journeys and encounters. Tsingy, Bernard’s first creation for the brand, grew from a formative encounter in Madagascar and centered on a locally encountered vegetal balm. The founding group included Isabelle Gellé, Michel Roudnitska, Jean-Claude and Eric Gigodot, and Perrine Scandel alongside Bernard. By late 2021, the collective comprised 10 perfumers and 14 fragrances, including six new natural fragrances. In 2025, Osmanthus Noir was officially launched at Grasse Perfume Week and credited to Marc-Antoine Corticchiato.
