Parfums 137

Parfums 137 was created in 2007 by Alexandre Bigle and Armelle Faye within their Akimoff venture, bringing together Bigle’s prior fragrance experience at Shao Ko with Faye’s expertise in design, visual identity, and packaging. The house began with three unisex fragrances and grew to seven, with Vetyver added in 2014. Its defining creative idea is layering: the scents can be worn separately or combined as a personal fragrance library. The collection is currently presented as “Balade dans Paris,” associating seven fragrances with Paris neighborhoods and inviting them to be worn alone or superposed. Early story-led sets included Nara 1869 and Hollywood Stromboli 1950. Bigarade, one of the first perfumes, is described as the brand’s enduring bestseller, while Olibanum, the frankincense-centered Nara 1869 fragrance, is another original marker of its early olfactory identity.
