Parfums Berdoues
Parfums Berdoues was founded in Toulouse in 1902 by Guillaume Berdoues, a coiffeur-barber who prepared an amber eau de Cologne for his clients before opening a parfumerie on Rue Lafayette. Its heritage has been carried through four generations of the Berdoues family in Toulouse, with French family perfumery, transmitted savoir-faire, authenticity, naturality, and modernity forming recurring elements of its identity. In 1936, Henri Berdoues created Violette de Toulouse, inspired by the Toulouse violet; the fragrance is identified as a landmark in the house’s history. Pierre Berdoues introduced Collection 1902 in 1970, naming it for the founding year. In 2009, Sophie Berdoues assumed leadership and brought greater attention to composition and more natural formulations; in 2015, she created the travel-oriented Grands Crus collection. In 2025, Léa Nature became the majority shareholder, and the brand entered a new phase of development under its ownership.
