Parfums Café

Parfums Café is a French fragrance concept brand created within Cofinluxe, alongside the company’s Café, Thé, Taxi and Watt concepts. Cofinluxe was founded by Jean-Pierre Grivory in 1976, after he began his career at Parfumerie Mont St Michel. The brand’s early identity centered on the café and coffee ritual: Café and Homme de Café were released together in 1978, with Homme de Café identified as its first men’s fragrance and credited to perfumer Alberto Morillas. Cofinluxe’s creative work also extended to licensed fragrances for Salvador Dali, Charriol and Barthet while continuing to develop Parfums Café and other concept brands. As of 20 January 2026, SA COFCI, trading as COFINLUXE, remained subject to judicial liquidation, with the closure deadline extended to 20 January 2028.
