Parfums de la Bastide

Parfums de la Bastide is the trading name of PB Provence, incorporated on 12 February 2014 with a business covering the creation, contract manufacture and distribution of perfumes and related products. The house originated in Aix-en-Provence, where its first showroom and brand location were established in a former mansion; its name and concept refer to the Provençal bastide and its associated way of life. Its creative identity is built around Provence through natural essences, locally rooted materials and a material-first approach to composition that places perfume ahead of packaging or marketing claims. The original fragrance concept paired identifiable regional materials with five initial perfumes: Éclatant, Insouciante, Insolite, Exquise and Ardent. The range spans personal and home fragrance, candles, soaps and linen care while retaining its Provence-centered framework. Figue Amour was created with fourth-generation Grasse perfumer Mathieu Nardin and was inspired by fig trees at the founders’ Provençal property.
