Parfums Police

Parfums Police began in Italy in 1983 as a De Rigo brand focused initially on eyewear. Its identity developed around a rebellious, nonconformist style, with blue and the eagle logo as recurring visual codes; a later Gothic aesthetic added skull imagery. In 1997, Police entered perfumery with fragrances for men and women, extending the eyewear label into a broader lifestyle portfolio. Mavive acquired the Police fragrance licence in 1999, while the brand itself remains owned by De Rigo Group. By 2003, the portfolio included fragrances, watches, jewellery and small leather goods, with clothing added in its subsequent evolution. To Be, introduced in 2011, is identified as an iconic Police fragrance through its skull-shaped bottle, a design symbol repeated across later variants. In 2023, Police marked its fortieth anniversary with a limited-edition fragrance among its commemorative products. In 2025, Mavive extended the line with To Be Hyperverse, pairing its virtual-world concept with a Fortnite interactive experience.
