Parfums Saphir
Parfums Saphir traces its origins to 1940, when the Sierra family founded Almacenes Corinto, a perfumery and drugstore distribution business in Zaragoza, Spain. In 1960, the second family generation expanded the business into perfume production. At the beginning of the 21st century, the third generation entered ownership, and the company began a period of consumer-oriented growth and diversification. The family-owned group developed distinct consumer-facing brands for different channels, including Saphir Parfums, Caravan Fragancias, and IAP Pharma Parfums. Its identity combines accessible, high-quality perfumery with technological innovation, experience, and know-how. In 2018, Grupo Saphir acquired the Madrid fragrance brand Álvarez Gómez, a heritage perfumery founded in 1899, while retaining its heritage-oriented identity and pursuing contemporary relevance and new product development.
