Parfums Sven Pritzkoleit

Parfums Sven Pritzkoleit, also known as SP Parfums, was founded in Germany in 2016 by Sven Pritzkoleit, a pharmacist and self-taught perfumer, after his family pharmacy closed in 2012. Pritzkoleit had created his first real perfume composition, Pink Patchouli, in 2006. The brand launched with an Essential Collection of five fresh and five woody fragrances, shaped by childhood scent memories, vintage-style classic perfumery, modern molecules, woods, and animalic accords. In 2016, Pritzkoleit also published Duftspuren, a German-language book about his path into perfumery and composition. Its fragrance work received recognition when Liquorice Vetiver became a finalist in the 2017 Art and Olfaction Awards and Powder & Dust, created with Yana Tommelise, won the Artisan category in 2019. Civette Intense was identified as one of Pritzkoleit’s signature scents. In December 2020, SP Parfums announced its discontinuation; that month, Powder & Dust was sold to Victor Wong’s Zoologist brand, which released the collaboration Cockatiel with Pritzkoleit as perfumer in August 2022.
