Paris Oud

Paris Oud is a fragrance brand owned by the Shaikh Mohd Saeed Group of Companies, a Dubai-based UAE perfume business, and was publicly listed among the group’s brands in the 2022 Beautyworld Middle East exhibitor profile. The group’s perfume activity traces to 1954, when Shaikh Mohammed Saeed established the company in Dubai and founded Al Souk, described as Deira’s first perfume shop. Over time, the family business developed from perfume dealing into manufacturing, wholesale, distribution, and retail, bringing Arabic/Oriental and French fragrance traditions together while remaining family-owned and headquartered in Dubai. Its reported history includes importing Japanese perfumes to the UAE in the 1970s, introducing celebrity- and film-star-endorsed perfumes to India in the 1980s, and building distribution links across Europe and Africa during those decades.
