Parle Moi de Parfum
Parle Moi de Parfum was launched in 2016 as a family project led by Benjamin Almairac, with his father Michel, mother Elisabeth and brother Romain involved in its creation. The brand originated in Paris around a public-facing perfume laboratory where visitors could observe materials being weighed, evaluated and formulated; its first boutique-laboratory opened in Paris that same year. Its public identity is built around the Almairac family and the presentation of perfume creation itself, rather than finished fragrances alone. Michel Almairac is the house’s exclusive in-house perfumer, developing the formulas while Benjamin evaluates the results and helps select what is launched. This model gave Michel an outlet for ideas shaped by his own creative aims after a career composing for other houses. His earlier work includes Fahrenheit for Dior, Chloé, Gucci Rush and Gucci Pour Homme. Papyrus Oud / 71 links the collection to that legacy as a modernized continuation of a notable Michel Almairac success launched in 2003.
