Partisan Parfums
Founded in 2012 in Dnipro, Ukraine, Partisan Parfums is an independent perfume brand created by Aleksandr Perevertaylo, its fragrance creator and creative director. His self-directed approach draws on music, literature, photography, art, personal emotion, and experience rather than fashion trends. The brand’s fragrances are multigender and use both natural and synthetic materials, with all stages of production performed by hand. Its first fragrance appeared in 2013 after Perevertaylo experimented with perfumery materials gathered during travels, including in India. From 2016 to 2019, he also created scents for cultural, fashion, museum, publishing, and brand-collaboration projects. A 2018 trademark record lists him as the owner of the registered Partisan Parfums mark. The brand received documented critical recognition in Perfumes: The Guide 2018, where it was described as the only Ukrainian brand represented and all five of its fragrances received positive assessments. Among the works discussed there, Silly Love was described as an unusual aldehydic-leather composition, while Coven was praised as a floral chypre.
