Fragrance house

Pekji

Pekji is an independent Turkish fragrance house associated with Istanbul, founded in 2018 by Ömer İpekçi after years of informal, underground perfume-making shared mainly with friends and dedicated perfume enthusiasts. Trained as a graphic designer and illustrator, İpekçi made perfume his primary artistic medium and leads the brand creatively. Pekji frames fragrance as a vehicle for emotion, ritual, and personal expression, placing its connection with the wearer ahead of status signaling. Its launch collection, Re:Collection, was introduced in 2018 as five fragrances organized around memory and identity; its second edition was later renamed Re:Re:Collection. In 2021, Pekji introduced Reset, a collection focused on mindfulness, renewal, self-reflection, and abstract human experiences. Editorial coverage describes Reset as a forward-looking development that retains Pekji’s established identity while exploring futuristic and dystopian ideas. The Re:Collection/Re:Re:Collection is the clearest documented expression of Pekji’s memory-and-identity concept.
