Perfume Workshop

Perfume Workshop is a Singapore-based perfumery founded by Prachi Saini, who moved from architecture and project coordination into perfume creation. The brand developed through hands-on workshops where participants learn perfume structure, explore scent families, and create personalized fragrances. Its creative identity is linked to Singapore’s artistic and botanical context: work at Goodman Art Center supported collaborations with museums and exploration of Singaporean flora, particularly scented orchids. The brand’s creative concept emphasizes personal expression through bespoke scent, using personality-based guidance across five broad fragrance families—citrus, floral, fresh, oriental, and woody. A 2019 Sentosa team-building event led to the development of Scentopia, an associated fragrance experience that added augmented-reality elements and personality-guided scent creation. Saini also created the associated Singapore Memories fragrance brand, combining Singapore’s history and places with orchid-inspired scents and the revival of the Singapore Girl fragrance from the 1970s.
