Perfumology Accords

Perfumology Accords is presented as a collection within Perfumology’s retail site, alongside the separate Perfumology brand, rather than as a separately documented historical perfume house. Its context is Perfumology, a small, family-owned perfumery in Philadelphia at 25 N 3rd Street. Nir Guy and his mother previously operated a smaller kiosk before opening the Perfumology shop; in 2017, Guy created Blyss, the first Perfumology scent, as the business expanded from retail into perfume creation. The Accords collection follows a collaborative, accord-focused model, with releases credited through their names and imagery to contributors including John Biebel, Sarah McCartney of 4160 Tuesdays, and Vincent Avery. Examples include Labdanum JB and Black Currant JF.
