Perito Moreno

Perito Moreno is an Indian perfume house based in Pune, founded by perfumer and chemical engineer Nitish Dixit. Its name was inspired by Argentina’s Perito Moreno Glacier, reflecting ideas of slow movement, rarity, and enduring natural presence. The house combines Indian heritage and traditional perfumery with global artistic influences, rare natural materials, modern molecules, and emotionally driven composition. Dixit previously co-owned the fragrance brand Dixit & Zak with Zakir Laskar before Perito Moreno was presented as his own brand under the Dixit Artisan identity. Its first fragrance, King’s Empire, was launched in 2023 as a sandalwood-centered composition associated with Dixit’s recurring interest in the material. In 2024, Perito Moreno launched Culture, created by Dixit and framed around Kerala’s cultural richness and the Kathakali dance tradition. Dixit is identified as the perfumer behind the brand’s fragrances.
