Pernoire

Pernoire is a Swiss fragrance house founded in Basel in 2020 by childhood friends Nico Mannino and Robin Dünner. They conceived the brand around the idea that fragrance can express or amplify different facets of personality, a concept reflected in its Anima and Odus collections, where each scent is presented as an olfactory personality. The name combines the Italian phrase “per noi,” meaning “for us,” with “noire,” referring to the brand’s tone and aesthetic. Andreas Wilhelm became a long-standing creative partner after a former perfumer stopped working with Pernoire; he created Amoral under a compressed development schedule and reformulated Masar, Vitias, and Tierra. Amoral later became a bestseller despite its short development period.
