Fragrance house
Phil Julian
Phil Julian is a young German niche fragrance house associated with Palm Wagner GmbH in Heidelberg. It made its public fragrance debut in 2025 with Fovere, presented as its first unisex fragrance. The brand’s creative identity foregrounds perfumers as authors, giving attention to individual signatures rather than treating fragrance solely as a commercial product. Its compositions are described as reduced and timeless, leaving room for personal interpretation and connecting scent with mood, origin, and memory. Fovere is presented as an emotional homage to Heidelberg and to feelings of home, arrival, friendship, memory, security, and warmth. Christian Carbonnel created Fovere and is also credited with Green Cactus and Helion; Joschka Klee is credited with Vanilla CO₂ & Oud. A later update called Vanilla CO₂ & Oud the third release and the beginning of a line focused on raw materials.
