Philipp Plein

Philipp Plein began in 1998 by making steel-and-leather furnishings for family and friends. The business then moved from furniture and leather craftsmanship into apparel and accessories, and Plein launched his own fashion brand in 2004. A couture collection followed in 2008. Its identity combines rock-influenced style with artistic sensibility and the principles “Unique, Passionate, Exclusive.” By 2022, the brand’s public identity also encompassed cryptocurrency and digital art through cryptocurrency payments, the Mona NFT marketplace, and a metaverse presence in Decentraland. Philipp Plein entered perfumery in December 2019 with $kull Art Edition, created with perfumer Alberto Morillas. Plein and Morillas co-created No Limit$, while No Limit$ and No Limit$ Super Fre$h are associated with the Plein–Morillas–Give Back Beauty partnership.
