Pierre Wulff

Pierre Wulff is a Parisian perfume house whose launch fragrance, Gilda, appeared in 1986. Its main activity is fragrances, and Gilda is marked discontinued; fragrance references center on Gilda and its variants. The perfumer Pierre Wulff was born in Sweden in 1953, trained in Grasse, worked in Paris for 17 years, and later became an independent perfumer in New York. His creative approach draws on memories and landscapes, using contrasts between luminous citrus and darker woods or resins. A meeting with Byredo founder Ben Gorham helped Gorham shift his creative focus from visual art toward fragrance.
