Pilar & Lucy

Pilar & Lucy is a fragrance brand established in Hollywood, Los Angeles, founded by Victoria, a former ballet dancer, actress, and model, and Gretchen, a poet and former manager of the Kitson boutique in West Hollywood. After moving from New York to Los Angeles, Victoria developed the concept around a combination of Hollywood glamour and New York sophistication. The brand’s design language draws on old Hollywood style, with black, red, and pink as documented signature colors and poetic phrases used in fragrance names. Its offerings included Eau de Parfum, perfume extracts, candles, and body-care products. Pilar & Lucy’s first fragrance, The Exact Friction of Stars, launched in 2003 and is documented as an Oriental-Vanilla scent. Ownership later stood with Victoria as sole owner and creator, following the original Victoria-and-Gretchen partnership.
