Pimkie

Founded in 1971 in response to the growing adoption of trousers by women, Pimkie developed its identity around fashion for free women, with collections inspired by the lives of women aged 18 to 25. In 2018, an employment-protection plan led to the closure of 37 stores and the elimination of 208 jobs. Owned by the Association familiale Mulliez before being put up for sale in May 2022, Pimkie was sold in early 2023 to a consortium comprising Lee Cooper France, Amoniss of Kindy, and Ibisler Tekstil. By November 2024, Salih Halassi was Pimkie’s sole owner, and the brand had introduced a refreshed visual identity centered on a stylized P.
