Place des Lices

Place des Lices is a fragrance brand currently identified as part of Gida Profumi S.r.l. Public fragrance records date its earliest creations to 1999, while a French trademark record shows that the PLACE DES LICES application was filed on 11 January 2000. Its identity draws on the French Riviera and Provençal tradition, with perfumes made in Grasse. In 2021, Gida Profumi commissioned a restyling of the historical fragrance collection, using retro typography and illustrations inspired by Belle Époque affiches and Mediterranean Riviera imagery. The presentation was organized around the Bohème collection, whose fragrance concept connects with artists associated with Place des Lices in Saint-Tropez and places mint, heliotrope, artemisia, and neroli at the center of its composition.
