Pomellato

Founded in Milan in 1967 by Pino Rabolini, Pomellato introduced ready-to-wear jewelry for a new generation of independent women, with pieces intended for everyday wear rather than only formal occasions. Its identity developed around Milanese creativity, bold colored gemstones, refined goldsmithing, and distinctive photographic imagery; Helmut Newton shot the first Pomellato campaign in 1982. In 1994, the house introduced DoDo, a separate jewelry concept built around symbolic elements that tell stories. Kering acquired Pomellato from the Rabolini family in 2013. After the acquisition, Pomellato’s public creative identity continued to emphasize sinuous gold volumes, colored gemstones, and unconventional Italian design. The Nudo collection is characterized by a patented 57-facet irregular cut. Pomellato introduced its first high-jewelry collection in 2020, extending its goldsmithing and contemporary-design language into one-of-a-kind pieces. That same year of ownership change, it entered perfumery with the Nudo fragrance collection, comprising three fragrances inspired by its Nudo rings.
