Possets

Possets began in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1992 as Fabienne Christenson’s aromatherapy company, working with herbs, essential oils, and resins. In 2004, Christenson decided to make perfume in her own style, pursuing gourmand, traditional chypre, floral, and musk fragrances that avoided qualities she disliked in many contemporary perfumes. Possets Perfume LLC was founded in 2006 as an independent global e-commerce perfume business, with Christenson as its founding perfumer and central creative figure. The brand frames perfume as an art form, linking fragrance-making with artistic inspiration and the exploration of beauty and joy. Possets is currently owned by Jennie and Tom. Its fragrance legacy includes Madame X, a 2007 perfume by Christenson that the official product page calls a Possets classic and a constant favorite among customers.
