Pour Toujours
Pour Toujours is a Parisian fragrance label founded and creatively led by perfumer Martine Denisot. Its legal entity was registered in Paris on 3 December 1993 for perfume and toilet-product manufacture, while the fragrance label launched in 2015 with six perfumes and expanded to a seventh creation, Vers Dharamsala, by 2018. Denisot’s perfume practice grew from a long-standing interest in scent, childhood olfactory memories from Berry, and training with Jacques Polge in Chanel’s laboratory. The collection centers on intimate, personal compositions intended to evoke memories and well-being, favoring cocoon-like, close-to-the-skin fragrances. Bootylicious is an early defining example, developing from a quince-based house mist that had been the best-selling item in an earlier series. Pour Toujours operated as a family business with Denisot making decisions independently; its legal entity entered anticipatory dissolution and amicable liquidation in June 2020, with liquidation closed on 30 September 2020.
