Prêt à Porter

Prêt à Porter is a Coty fragrance line whose original scent launched in 1996 as an oriental-floral fragrance for women. Its parent company was founded in Paris as a fragrance house by Joseph Marie François Spoturno, who adopted the name François Coty, and later developed into a beauty company spanning fragrance, color cosmetics, and skin and body care. On October 3, 2016, Coty completed its merger with Procter & Gamble’s specialty beauty business, materially enlarging its beauty and fragrance platform. By February 2025, Prêt à Porter had been revived from dormancy with a six-scent collection developed in under a year. Today, the line combines its 1996 heritage scent with a 2025-era expanded collection.
