Fragrance house
Pretty Pink
Pretty Pink is a fragrance in Anna Sui’s Sundae Collection, rather than a separately documented fragrance house. The wider Anna Sui fashion identity was established by Anna Sui in 1981, and she presented her first runway show in 1991. Its creative identity draws on research into vintage styles and references from fashion, art, music, film, and design. Anna Sui added fragrance and cosmetics to the label in 1999. Pretty Pink is presented as a citrus-fruity scent, with Jérôme Epinette named as its perfumer. The associated Anna Sui brand has been independently owned since its inception, while Inter Parfums was identified as the manufacturer and distributor of its perfumes in 2017. Public milestones include the 1992 CFDA Perry Ellis Award for New Fashion Talent, the 2009 CFDA Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award, and a 2017 exhibition at London’s Fashion and Textile Museum.
