Fragrance house
Prin
Prin is a Thai fragrance house founded in 2019 by perfumer Prin Lomros. Drawing on Lomros’s background in film and advertising, film education, and self-directed study of perfumery, the house treats perfume as a narrative medium, building scents from imagined moving images, colors, sounds, and textures; its aesthetic centers on twilight worlds, nocturnal moods, and animalic materials. The debut comprised Anatolia, Mandodari, and Aran, and in 2020 Lomros changed the brand name to PRIN after earlier work under Pryn Parfum, Strangers Parfumerie, and Parfum Prissana. His artisan fragrances received Art and Olfaction Awards in 2017 and 2018. Anatolia and Mandodari illustrate the house’s narrative approach: Anatolia contrasts a sweet Eastern-inspired accord with leather, while Mandodari translates its namesake’s story into a floral composition set against harsher base elements.
