Priscilla Presley

Priscilla Presley is an entrepreneur, actress, author, producer, and businesswoman whose public identity includes work connected to the Presley estate. After Vernon Presley’s death in 1979, she became a co-executor and co-trustee of the estate, and Graceland opened to the public in 1982 in a milestone associated with her stewardship. In 1993, Lisa Marie Presley formed a new Elvis Presley Trust with Priscilla Presley and the National Bank of Commerce as co-trustees; in 1998, Priscilla moved to an advisory position as Lisa Marie became more involved in management. Presley also developed an eponymous fragrance business, introducing Moments as her signature fragrance line in 1990 and launching four signature fragrances during the decade. Her public creative identity was revisited in Baz Luhrmann’s 2022 film Elvis and Sofia Coppola’s 2023 film Priscilla, which was based on her memoir.
