Privilege

Privilege is a fragrance name first used in commerce on October 26, 1984, and registered the following year for perfume and eau de toilette by Ben Rickert, Inc. Azurel, Ltd., incorporated in 1995, marketed fragrances and cosmetics under proprietary names that included Privilege. Azurel filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in 2001 and was discharged in 2005; in April 2006, it announced the sale of the Privilege trademark to Fragrance Xtreme, Inc. The trademark record lists Fragrance Xtreme as the current recorded owner and the registration as renewed. Public fragrance documentation identifies Privilege by Parfums Privilege as a 1986 launch, featuring jasmine and exotic fruits; the brand’s documented fragrance record contains one perfume.
