Profumo di Firenze
Profumo di Firenze is the Galardi family’s olfactory project devoted to Florence and its perfume tradition. The family’s fragrance history reaches back to 1954, when it created its first cologne; in 2004, Enzo Galardi renewed that cologne as the basis for a new olfactory project. Galardi also created the bottle design, inspired by an inkpot belonging to his father. In the six years following the 2004 renewal, the project expanded with Cinquantaquattro, Dolce Prospettiva, and Terrarossa. The brand is organized around two thematic lines: the Firenze collection, inspired by the city’s character and flavors, and the Dante collection, which interprets medieval Florence and the Divine Comedy. Its creative direction connects Florentine perfumery with tradition and innovation, presenting Florence as its central cultural and olfactory subject. Arnoway Srl currently identifies Profumo di Firenze as one of its proprietary perfume brands and describes it as a Galardi family project.
